Big Friend: Sutro Tower in San Francisco

Sutro Tower is an enormous antenna tower built near Twin Peaks in San Francisco and visible for miles around. Though reviled by many when it was built, it has become for many residents one of the City's most admired icons, perhaps because it is so at odds with the Victorian architecture.
