Modern Architecture around Buena Vista Park, San Francisco
San Francisco’s Buena Vista Park is bordered by some fantastic architecture, including a few modernist gems (not often found in San Francisco, as compared to, say, Los Angeles).
First, the non-modern: a klinker-brick cottage in Christmas finery:
Next up, a fine 1950s duplex at 595 Buena Vista Avenue. As of July 2006, one of these homes is for sale — a 2 bedroom condo, 834 square feet, for $769,000. (Thanks to SocketSite for the tip-off.)

matt-just had a little flashback when i looked at these photos, you took them the day we were out wandering around town and then went to see the incredibles while my sister went into labor and had the baby in the shower :)
